Slow Summer Salon : Poetry & Presence in the Studio | Friday, August 8th
Friday, August 8th | 6:30–9 PM | $40
Doors Open at 6:00pm
Terracotta House – Boca Raton Studio
A soulful evening of verse, mocktails & mindful connection at Terracotta House.
Join us for an intimate gathering designed for those who seek beauty, reflection, and authentic community. As part of the Studio Club: Slow Summer Series, this evening invites you to pause, create, and connect through the gentle art of poetry and presence.
What Awaits You:
Begin with open studio time (6-7pm) to explore the gallery space and settle into the creative energy. At 7pm, we'll gather for introductions over handcrafted summer mocktails—think refreshing hibiscus, cooling mint, and sweet watermelon blends that embody the season's spirit.
Each participant will receive a surprise piece of poetry and their own journal as gifts to take home. We'll ground ourselves with a gentle 5-minute guided meditation, followed by 15 minutes of silent journaling inspired by the poetry. The evening culminates in 30-40 minutes of sharing whatever feels true and authentic in the moment—your words, reflections, or simply your presence.
Who This Is For:
Curious souls, poetry lovers, and anyone craving meaningful connection. No writing experience necessary—just bring an open heart and willingness to explore. Whether you're a seasoned storyteller or someone who simply appreciates beautiful language, this space welcomes you.
Come as you are. Leave feeling nourished, inspired, and more connected to yourself and your creative spirit.
