Valerie Noell is a multifaceted artist based in South Florida. With a background in Creative Directing and Photography, her works are inspired by different places and moments in time that spark emotion and tell a story. Building on the traditions of abstract expressionism, her paintings are often driven by impulse and are made up of overlapping colors and abstract mark making. Her current work is highly influenced by the natural world, having spent the last decade exploring parklands as a commercial wilderness photographer.

As a creative director and photographer she hopes to evoke beauty in the mundane and imperfect. Styling works to feel lived in and caught in a moment. She has worked in the commercial field for the last decade with an interest in companies that give back and are doing something positive for the planet.
