$10.00

Art House Movie Night: Her

Friday, June 13
Open Studio: 6:00 PM | Film Begins: 7:15 PM sharp
Terracotta House Studio – Boca Raton

Join us for the very first Art House Movie Night at Terracotta House—an immersive new summer series for film lovers, artists, and curious minds. We’re kicking things off on Friday the 13th with a film that feels more timely than ever: Her(2013), directed by Spike Jonze.

Set in a hazy near-future that now feels eerily like the present, Her follows Theodore, a lonely writer who falls in love with his AI operating system. It’s a love story—tender, strange, and disarmingly real—about connection, memory, and the shifting nature of intimacy in a hyper-technological world.

With the rise of AI at our fingertips today, Her hits different. What once felt like a poetic sci-fi premise now lands as a deeply relevant exploration of human emotion, virtual relationships, and what it means to be seen. It asks: Can love be real if the connection is artificial? Or are we all just trying to feel something real, regardless of the source?

Doors open at 6 PM for open studio time. Bring your sketchpad, journal, or simply come early to take in the space. We’ll have ambient lighting, soft music, and optional wine available. BYOB is welcome, or grab a glass from us.

The film starts at 7:15 PM sharp, followed by a casual post-film chat for anyone who wants to reflect on what it all means in the age of algorithms and artificial intimacy.

Let this be your new favorite slow summer ritual.
